Alan is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, fully insured, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and Chartered by the British Psychological Society. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London and has been working in the field of mental health for over 12 years.
Alan works independently and within the NHS as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, Alan is a guest lecturer on undergraduate and post-graduate courses at the University of Sussex and University of Brighton. He teaches at the Salomons Centre for Applied Psychology to Trainee Clinical Psychologists, is part of the recruitment and examination boards and is a specialist trainer to CBT practitioners.
